South Padre Island has a vast array of restaurants, cafés, deli's and other places to eat up and down the five-mile stretch of beach. Whether you are in the mood for Mexican, Italian, gourmet, burgers, seafood, or just a simple bite to eat, the island is going to have something that suits your taste buds. There are easily more than 100 different unique locations to eat at on this small island, but we have put together a list of our top 20 dine-out spots. Take a look at that listed restaurants below - frequently visited and recommended by the Air Padre staff - to get an idea of where you like to eat tonight.
Sea Ranch is one our top choices! Great atmosphere, seafood, and incredible sunset views of the Sea Ranch Marina.
Ted's is located right next to Air Padre. Very good breakfast and lunch - frequented by Air Padre employees.
Parrot Eyes is located two doors down and serves great draft beer and fish tacos. Try the Mahi Mahi Bites appetizer.
If you want Italian food then this is the best on the island. White pizzas, spaghetti, and garlic bread is why this is a top choice.
Pelican station is located just over the bridge in Port Isabel - Best blackened fish tacos around by far!
Cafe Kranzler is a higher-end breakfast, lunch, and dinner cafe. Amazing food and a unique menu.
Yummies is great for breakfast and lunch. They also have free wi-fi and some of the island's only good coffee.
Pychedeli has tremendous deli sandwiches, try the Big Ass Club! Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait though.
Big Donkey has some of the only Tex-Mex food on the island ironically. Tasty enchiladas and menu items like that.
Las Olas is located inside Bridgepoint at the south end. Great food and beach view. Usually not many other diners.
Zeste Cafe has great wine and cheese. Small shop with a local atmosphere and a unique menu for the eclectic taste
Best wings and burgers around. Also, good choice of draft beers on tap and many sports televisions.
Fantastic sushi rolls and Hibachi grille in the back. Top choice for international cuisine on the island.
Shrimp Haus is connected to Schlitterbahn. As one could guess, they have tremendous shrimp.
A smaller version of Kohnami sushi located mid-island. Great sushi rolls and cozy atmosphere.
One of the more popular breakfast places on the island. Reliable food choices and reasonable pricing.
Local brewing station of beer and tasty foods. Careful though, the beer is delicious today but dangerous tomorrow.
One of the only pizza establishments on South Padre Island. All types of pizza - including shrimp!
Some can't live without Louie's rib night. Great food and priced right if you time the nights for the specials.
