Air Padre Kiteboarding is now offering free kiteboarding theory and repair classes throughout the Spring months of 2010. Join us every Friday, Saturday and Sunday to discuss kiteboarding in the shop. The lessons will range from kite and board repair, wind window, bar tuning and many others. For the full schedule coming this spring 2010 see the Higher Education page.
Bill Gehring, a level II IKO qualified kite instructor will be the first speaker. Bill has been teaching the sport of kiteboarding for a number of years on South Padre Island, Texas, which has given him ample experience and knowledge. This spring, Bill will hold these Higher Education classes every Friday evening, Saturday Morning and Evening, and Sunday Morning and Evening.
The purpose of the Higher Education program is to give kiteboarding students further knowledge about the sport for free. The in shop classes are designed to give those who are seeking additional information the opportunity to gain it. The classes are free to attend are hopefully will make for a more educational stay while visiting South Padre Island, Texas
