February 25, 2011 - Spring Break on South Padre Island has always been a common destination for droves of college students getting away from their studies for a week of fun, drinking and sun. Spring Break 2011 is looking like the annual event will be bigger than ever with headlining groups such as Snoop Dogg and DJ Tiesto, and the usual craziness at Coca-Cola beach.
The week of March 12th - 19th will see the bulk of the spring breakers on the South Padre Island, as nearby colleges such as Texas A&M, TSU [Texas], U of Oklahoma, and University of Texas have that week off and will be traveling south. Although, the week before and after will see an influx of partiers as well.
