Sand Sculptures at the south Jetties
South Padre Island, Texas - The 23th annual Sand Castle Days 2010 was held this October at Isla Blanca Park at the south end of South Padre Island. The venue was a great time for sand sculptors from all over the world to show off their incredible sand castle building techniques. there was many different divisions of sand sculptors, all who brought their own creative touch to the beaches of South Padre Island, Texas.
As kiteboarders, we normally see the south jetties as one of the best breaks for kitesurfing in the waves, but the pictures below show that the location is superb for other beach activities that everyone can enjoy! All photos taken by Air Padre Kiteboarding.
