2010 Flyboards Fly Door is the Next Generation of the Door Series Which Have Unmatched Light wind and Upwind Performance.
The 2010 FlyDoor M, L and XL are the next generation of kiteboards in the Fly Door series. Fly Doors have earned their place among kiteboarder's hearts for their fantastic upwind and light wind performance every year. In this year's Fly Door, light wind has been improved even more, as well as increased riding comfort through added flex and rocker. Additionally, spray has been eliminated.
Flyboards have developed and implemented machines to measure the scoop and rocker line in 3 dimensions across the board. The main goal was to eliminate spray and add comfort, without losing the light wind performance or pop. In under and over powered conditions, the Flydoor automatically adjusts its scoop-rocker line which extends the effective range of the kiteboards.
The 2010 Flyboards Fly Door Medium, Large and XL have thinner tip shapes and a more asymmetric shape. The thinner board tips, combined with more board flex, add control in over powered kiting conditions. The board's rocker line has been light wind optimized to increase speed and up wind performance. The heel side of the board has a negative outline, which allows for more board rail to be in the water and helps to go upwind, even when you are kiting under powered. Rounded toe side rails improves your control when transitioning or riding toe-side.
