The beginner kiteboarding package is perfect for those who need a complete kiteboarding gear setup to get them started at a inexpensive price.
The beginner kiteboarding package is a great way to get started in the sport of kiteboarding. The package includes everything you need to get out on the water to begin your progression. All products included included in the package are brand new and beginner friendly. If you don't know exactly what you need to begin kitesurfing, then check out this beginner package. No need to purchase anything more, this package includes it all!
We have updated the choices available this year for the package. You now have the option of different kite size from 2010 Best Kahoona. 5.5m, 7.5m, 9.5m, 11.5m, and 13.5m kite sizes will ensure that you will have the correct size kite for your weight and wind conditions. See chart alongside to view average wind range of each kite size, based upon a person that weights 75kg/ 165lbs.
The Best Kahoona is a delta shaped kite that is excellent for beginners. Delta kites are very easy to re launch off of the water when they crash. There is plenty of depower and an impressive wind range for each kite.
We now have 4 available choices for the harness. The Dakine Storm seat harness comes in all sizes and is a great choice for beginners. Seat harnesses are the best to learn in because they stay low and secure. They provide ample support from your waist and hips, and have a good amount of padding. The Dakine Nitrous board shorts harness is similar to the seat harness, only has a little less padding and acts as board shorts in addition to being a harness. Both Dakine harnesses are available in all sizes and come complete with a spreader bar and pad.
Additionally, if you are a very large or small person, we have some waist harness options for you. Waist harnesses wrap around your mid section and have good back support. The Mystic Warrior is available in extra small, and the Liquid Force Luxury is available in extra large. Both harnesses complete complete with bar and pad.
We have two choices for kiteboards in the 2010 Package. The Liquid Force Recoil in sizes 133cm or 136cm. The Recoil 133cm is for smaller riders who do not need as much board to get them up and going. The 136cm is slightly larger and will help with bigger riders. The Recoil is a superb board with great construction.
